Duly Noted is a working prototype for a YouTube centered video note taking application with the goal allowing educators to more effectively share teaching best practices.
Screenshot of the Splash Page. User has the option to register or log in. Followed by simple illustrated instructions, summarizing how the site works. User finds a YouTube video, adds the video to their library using only the video’s URL, the video immediately becomes available for note taking session.
Screenshot of the Note Taking Page. Video appears in the center of the page. Typing in the text box below the video pauses the video and grabs the time the video was paused. When the user is done writing their note, clicking the “send” button adds time and the note to the note taking session in the right column.
Screenshot of Library Page. Page contains videos the user has added to their library. To begin taking notes on a video, the user clicks the green pencil and paper icon. The black trashcan icon allows the user to delete the video. User can also add a new video to the library.
